Weather forecasting is an essential but complex task because of its substantial influence on human life and advanced atmospheric dynamics. In recent years, deep learning-based techniques have gain high attention for weather forecasting. Nevertheless, current forecasting models ignore the...
Weather Forecasting model using Attentive Residual Gated Recurrent Unit for urban flood Prediction
Hydrology and Water Resources Management
Flood forecasting is significant for hydrology and disaster management due to the complex and nonlinear nature of flood-related data. There are several conventional forecasting methods often failed to effectively capture both spatial and temporal dependencies that leads to inaccurate predictions. In...
A multi-stage methodology for selecting input variables in ANN forecasting of river flows
General
The scientific community has recognized the necessity for more efficiently selected inputs in artificial neural network models (ANNs) in river flows and has worked on this despite some shortcomings. Moreover, there is none or limited inclusion of ANN inputs coupled with atmospheric circulation under...
Energy Demand and Carbon Emission Peak Forecasting of Beijing Based on Leap Energy Simulation Method
CLEANWAS
The long-term forecasting of the energy demand is an important issue of an area’s sustainable development, especially for mega cities such as Beijing.
