1. Copyright

Authors publishing in Global NEST Journal retain copyright in their work.

By accepting publication, authors grant Global NEST Journal a non-exclusive licence to publish the article, identify itself as the original publisher, make the article publicly available, and distribute the work in all formats and media.

Copyright ownership is not transferred to the Journal.

2. Open-Access Licence

All articles published in Global NEST Journal are made immediately and permanently available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0).

Under this licence, users are free to:

  • share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format; and
  • adapt — remix, transform and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes,

provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author or authors and source, a link to the licence is provided, and any changes made are indicated.

No additional restrictions may be applied that legally restrict others from exercising the rights granted by the licence.

3. Author Rights

Authors retain the right to:

  • share and distribute their published article;
  • deposit the published version in institutional or subject repositories;
  • use the article in teaching, lectures and presentations;
  • reproduce the article, in whole or in part, in future works, provided appropriate acknowledgement of the original publication is given; and
  • otherwise reuse their work in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 licence.

No embargo period applies.

4. Third-Party Material

Authors are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions for the inclusion of copyrighted third-party material that is not covered by the article’s CC BY 4.0 licence.

Any third-party material subject to different copyright or licensing conditions must be clearly identified through an appropriate credit line.

5. Licensing Information

The applicable copyright holder and Creative Commons licence should be clearly displayed on the article webpage and within the published article.

6. Author Agreement

Authors may be required to accept a publishing agreement confirming the rights granted to the Journal and the applicable open-access licence. Such an agreement shall not require authors to transfer copyright to the Journal.
