Abstract:

Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) are aromatic hydrocarbons with three or more fused benzene rings that include carbon and hydrogen. These are thought to be harmful to human health, and we cannot avoid being exposed to them because they are widely disseminated throughout the environment. PAHs enter our bodies through the air, water, food, and soil. The developments in different sources of generation, analysis, and remediation approaches are reviewed in this paper based on recent available literature. The chemistry of PAHs, their exposure routes, and their health implications are also discussed. In this manuscript future scope of work as well as removal and reduction of carcinogenic PAHs are also discussed briefly. These types of review article are one of the most promising solutions to reduce air pollution issues from environment. This study could be one of the best studies to reduce carcinogenic pollutants from our environment.
